Congratulations to Cunningham Construction Company for a job well done. I
recently received the post hardware installation report from the
Manufacture's Representative, ASSA ABLOY finding zero defects with your
door and hardware installation. Please share this extremely impressive
report with your team. What makes this all the more impressive is the
nearly two hundred commercial doors utilized multiple and varied hardware
pieces on each door. The ASSA ABLOY Representative spent several hours on
site, reviewing the door & hardware installation and commented many times
throughout the inspection "Man, these guys knew what they were doing."
The fit and finish of the stained wood trim your craftsmen installed in the
main lobby is of the highest workmanship and receives rave reviews by
nearly everyone that visits University Hall. In addition, the mile plus of
wood trim your crews installed in the residents rooms continue to receive
high marks.
Throughout the entire construction process, your foreman was responsive to
my needs, and the needs of the job, while cooperating very well with other
trades. It was evident that your work force was highly skilled and went
about their business in a professional manner. In addition, the field
operations were supported by a highly professional, knowledgeable,
responsive and easy to work with administrative staff.
I found my experience with Cunningham Construction Company a pleasure and
look forward to future projects together. Again, thank you for an awesome,

Just a short note to commend you and your subcontractors for the fine job you did on our Branch 80 Project. When the jod started, we all knew that it would be a tight schedule, and you pulled it off. You have shown that there are still a few QUALITY subcontractors left, and you know how to find them.
Because you met the January 6th move-in date, we were able to turn over our leased space in the Southfield Mall on time. This allowed them to proceed on their expansion project.
Your team has built three branches for Comerica in the past 18 months and you have proven that your staff of contruction professionals are second-to-none. All three branches were built on time and under budget. In today's world, that would be enough, but your team took it several steps higher. Your quality of workmanship is at a level you don't see much anymore. Dean Leach has been the key to the on-site success and as a project superintendent, he is outstanding. His ability to think ahead of what is going on and maintain such a calm approach to problems is not seen much today.

From May to August of 2007, Jackson Community College's LeTarte Center in Hillsdale, Michigan underwent extensive renovation. Project oversight was provided by Cunningham Construction Company of Jackson, Michigan. As part of the renovation, two classrooms were made into a science lab and prep room area, the front office and bookstore were gutted and rebuilt with built in cabinets and cupboards, the student lobby was updated with counters and a cafe area, and the entire 10,000 square foot facility received new ceiling tile, paint, carpet, and doors.
The timeline for this project was very tight. The office and lobby areas needed to be complete by the second week of July 2007 for office staff to reoccupy this space. This phase of the project was completed on time and looked great.
The timeline for the completion of the classroom area in the building was August 10. This portion of the project was completed ahead of schedule.
The orginization of the work that was performed and the workmanship was excellent. Each day of the project Dean from Cunningham Construction was on sight to oversee the work and the various crews of workers. As we approched the critical stages in the process, Kip Cunningham would hold contractors' meetings in the facility to make sure deadlines were met.
I am very pleased with the work of Cunningham Construction, both in meanaging this project and the work that was performed, and would highly recommend them to those seeking a quality construction company.
